Around here, we're always looking for great new ways for students to enjoy their travel experiences. On our student travel home page today, you'll notice we're highlighting Chicago, a Midwest treasure known as the windy city. Chicago is often considered a leader in amazing architecture. Still holding the record for the nation's tallest office building with the Sears Tower, Chicago tends to set the bar in many aspects of architecture.
Like many great American cities, Chicago offers a very refreshing, unique way to take in its sites, a method that is perfect for students. They offer harbor cruises along the Chicago River, at least one of them with a specific emphasis on Chicago's leading architecture. Students will love the refreshing reprieve a boat tour can offer. And chaperones will love the organization of having the entire group so well confined for an hour or two.
Chicago educational tours are just one of the great student travel ideas that offer harbor cruises of course. And its architectural cruise is just one of the many choices for great Chicago tours from the water. Most cities, including Chicago, also offer dinner cruises and moonlit ones. A particular thrill for students will often be the speed boat cruises offered by various tour lines. These are faster, wetter, and more exciting, and the tour guide tends to keep them laughing. It's a great high-energy way to keep students engaged in what they're learning.
Being on the water is always a unique experience and a refreshing one. Combining these benefits with that of being in a new, exciting city is the perfect way to inspire students in an appreciation for the world around them.
